௧௯௯0-ஆம் ஆண்டு நான் முதன்முறையாக சிங்கப்பூர் சென்றதும் யார் இந்த ஊரின் பிரதமர் என்று கேட்டறிந்தேன். பதிலிறுத்த நண்பர்களில் பலர், லீ குவான் யூ என்ற அன்றைய பிரதமரின் பெயரை பாக்தாத் நகரோடு அதன் மக்களின் உள்ளங்களையும் ஒருசேரக் கொள்ளைகொண்ட வரலாற்றுக் கள்வனின் பெயரை அச்சத்துடன் கூறுவதுபோல் மெல்லிய குரலில் "லீ குவான் யூ" என்றனர். மீண்டும் தெளிவாகக் கூறுமாறு நான் கேட்டபோது "லீ" என்று மட்டும் கூறினார். மரியாதை, அச்சம், எச்சரிக்கை, கவனம், கலக்கம் என அனைத்தும் கலந்த விதமாய் மக்கள் திரு. லீ அவர்களின் பெயரைக்கூட கருதுவதன் காரணம் கண்டு வியந்தேன்.

சட்டம், அதைச் செயலாக்கும் விதம், அரசுக்கும் மக்களுக்கும் நடுவில் கட்டாயம் இருக்கவேண்டிய இடைவெளி, இனம், மொழிகளுக்குத் தரவேண்டிய இன்றியமையாமை என்பனவற்றில் பாரபட்சமின்றி ௩௧ அண்டுகள் சிங்கப்பூரை அதன் பிரதமராக வழிநடத்தி, கோ சோக் தாங், தன் மகன் லீ ஹ்சியான் லூங், ஜார்ஜ் இயோ, ஈஸ்வரன், எஸ். ஆர். நாதன் போன்ற பல அரசியல் தலைவர்களை ஆளாக்கியவர் திரு. லீ.

"இந்தியர்கள் நிறைய மிளகாய் உண்பவர்கள். அதனால் புற்றுநோயால் அதிகம் பாதிக்கப் படுபவர்கள் உலகில் இந்தியர்களே" - என்று தன் கண்டுபிடிப்பாகக் கூறிய இவருடைய மகனார் லீ ஹிசியான் லூங்கும் இவருக்குப் பின் பிரதமரான திரு. கோ சோக் தாங் அவர்களும் புற்றுநோயால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு "கேமொதேரோபி" விளைவாக மொட்டையாயினர். லீ உள்ளத்தில் உள்ளதைப் பேசுபவர்.

இலங்கையின் அதிபர் மகேந்த ராஜபக்சே ஒரு சிங்கள இனவெறியாளர் என்று திரு. லீ எவருக்கும் அஞ்சாமல் கூறியுள்ளார். தமிழின அழிப்பும், தமிழ் மொழி மறைப்பும் இலங்கையில் நிகழ்வதாகக் கூறியுள்ளார். இலங்கையில் இது கனவிலும் நடவாத காரியம் என்றும், மீண்டும் ஒருநாள் தமிழ் இன எழுச்சி மும்மடங்காக மேலெழுந்து பரவத்தான் போகிறது என்றும் கூறியுள்ளார்.

தெற்காசிய நாடுகளின் மூத்த தலைவர்களுள் ஒருவரான திரு. லீ குவான் யூ அவர்களின் தீர்க்க தரிசனம் இலங்கை அரசுக்கு ஓர் எச்சரிக்கை.

இன மொழி மறைப்பால் விளையப்போகும் இலங்கையின் இன்னல்களை உணராது மகேந்த ராஜபக்சேவுக்கு ஆலவட்டம் சுழற்றும் உலகின் எந்த நாட்டின் அரசுக்கும் திரு. லீ குவான் யூ அவர்களின் தொலைநோக்க அரசியலறிவு ஒரு பாடமாக அமையவேண்டும். தமிழ் ஈழத்தில் சிங்களக் குடியேற்றங்களை உருவாக்கும் இன, மொழி அழிப்பு சதித் திட்டங்களை உடனே இலங்கையின் பேரினவாத அரசு நிறுத்திக் கொள்ளுதல் அதன் தேசீய இறையாண்மைக்கு உதவும்.

WHY I FAIL?

1. Illiterate idiots who cannot take a decision are given the voting right to elect nincompoops to frame governing rules and laws of the land.

2. Disgruntled and physically immovable and mentally unstable persons fit to be in death beds are chosen as State Chief Ministers, Presidents, Prime Ministers and Vice-Presidents.

3. Street goons are allowed to run political parities; whereas they are proven and convicted criminals out on bail by a typical judicial system fit not to govern even a pig-sty.

4. Persons as Cabinet Ministers have no basic qualifications to head ministries allotted for them to look after.

5. No age limit to be in politics. plenty of Arial Sharons from their eternal coma rule with their age dating back to Stone.

6. Courts are fashion houses only to adjourn hearings for cases and issue bail orders for convicted and criminally charged politicians to come to power hoodwinking police and law enforcing forces.

7. The Sleeping Beauty in the institutions responsible and running Parliamentary and State Assembly elections, said to be to uphold the values of democracy allow anti-social elements, criminals, and corrupt men and women to contest in elections.

8. Insane, and mentally deranged persons hold voting rights in the name of Democracy.

9. Too many political parties and ideology for every individual.

10. No trace of accountability for political misdeeds, corrupt practices, anti-national or anti-social activities.

11. You can burn alive university girl students in a bus on road in broad daylihgt over an admonishing verdict on a corrupt and criminally sentenced political leader but the offender can dream of walking out of his death-cell over his Mercy Petition to the President, or you can attack the National Parliament and still be alive after 4 years even after a death sentence has been awarded for such a crime. The Medical Council Chairman can amass wealth worth 1800 Cr in hard cash and 1500kg of gold in metal and still be left out to live in comforts on bail. Or drive a girl to commit suicide molesting her and walk out Scot-Free on your political clout. You can loot and own lands of Adi-Dravida Community as a Chief Minister and build palatial bunglows for your lust-quenching comforts with your concubine and your same sex paramours and refuse to give the land back even after the court orders to hand it out back to its owners but the same court never prevents you from contesting State Assembly elections even though you are a criminal by its own verdict on corruption and acts of looting the State properties!

சுப்பு என்ற பாலசுப்பிரமணியம் போன்றோர் சமுதாயப் புல்லுருவிகள். மத இன சாதி பேதங்களை வளர்க்கும் சண்டாளர்கள். இவர்கள்தான் ஒருங்கிணைந்த இந்தியத் திருநாட்டினை உருக்குலைக்க நினைக்கும் நக்சலைட் தீவிரவாதிகளுக்கே நிகரான தேசத்துரோகியர். யாருக்கு வேண்டும் திராவிடம்? யாருக்குத் தேவை ஆரியம்? இந்து மதத்தால் விளைந்த சாதிகளால் நம் ஒருமைப்பாடு உருக்குலைந்தது போதாதா? இன்றையத் தேவை இன்னொரு ஈ. வே. ரா. பெரியார்தான். இன்னொரு கோபாலகிருஷ்ண கோகலேதான். மகாத்மா புலே தான். குலக்கல்வியை தமிழகத்தில் கொண்டுவர முயற்சித்த நல்லான் சக்கரவர்த்தி ராஜகோபாலாச்சாரி வேண்டாம். மத பேதத்தின் வகுப்பசிரியன் நரேந்திர மோடி வேண்டாம். உங்களுடைய பதிப்பகம் எதற்கு வகுப்பறை என்பதை நீங்களே முடிவுசெய்யுங்கள். பேதங்களை வளர்க்காதீர்கள். பிரிவினையைத் தூண்டாதீர்கள்.

REASONS FOR DIVORCE IN MODERN INDIA

Gone are the days marriages are fixed in one among the heavens above our heads which is the abode of the invincible invisible, the god – our Lord!

Of late, classrooms in high schools and colleges and lawns of university campuses are such abode for marriages in India.

Of all the countries, marriages are breaking up as frequently as the passenger cars of upcountry trains plying in the Red Belt Regions of Eastern India leaving families like those mangled heap of passenger compartments turned turtle for politicians to prey on reasons to accuse one another for electoral reasons. Whereas, in breaking up of marriages, families vaingloriously up-stem each others’ commitments to a thousand years bond in India their great grandparents held values of lives thru marriage.

But, like the Indian monsoon playing hide and seek with those people in the hinterlands, Indian weddings took the seasonal aspects to last just for a couple of months and then vanish in the blue like those nuptial shots in films – I mean Indian movies!

Come now to the reasons; the movie industry in any language is the mea culpa of the first order for divorces multiplying in thousands per month in India. In the themes of teen-age love, movies are made to outnumber the locusts expected of the swarm of them from one among the Ten Commandments. The most tender of all feeling that human beings can ever taste both physically and mentally and psychologically thru the affairs of love is maligned and mangled in different vulgar manner in movies made in Bollywood, Kollywood and Tollywood with songs and their filming sequences focused on sex arousing gyrations with tunes pitching to ecstatic levels literally driving the youngsters to attain an orgasm devoid of any partner from the opposite sex.

The Indian tradition demands an age difference of a maximum of 5 years between the boy and girl getting entangled in wedlock. This is not the norm now with marriages. The minds of girls and boys join in lust for carnal desires in classrooms in the schools and colleges they study and as graduation ends with their lives as students, they meet discreetly to nurture their love to end up in marriage. Good. But, remember, how they address each other even as they want to be man and wife? The force of habit with which the same age group lovers address one another by their names is carried ahead into their family life even after marriage. The reverence and respect expected of a wife towards her husband in addressing him is no more. To such a wife, her husband is still her classmate to call him by his name to the chagrin of the boy’s relatives, parents, brothers and sisters.

Calling the husband by name is no crime or wrong in Western cultures. For, they use a common word, “You” in 2nd person singular to call or address their father, mothers, their dogs, and their children and their gods. That is not the case with the cultures in the East. Elders are differentiated from animals with words of salutation and addressing. A wife is expected to treat her husband as an elder always in her married life to keep her bonded with his love, respect and care. The binding of marriage in the Eastern cultures starts from here even as the couples as ‘newly wedded’ leave a Church, Temple, Pagoda or a Mosque.

The moment a newly wedded wife is equated to the level of her husband’s heights in family and social strata, he is deemed hen-pecked. The hen in such a wife expects her rooster to lay eggs and in his inability, she starts searching for such rooster who “can lay eggs”. The search is the prelude to the imminent divorce to take place as the hen starts pecking more and bolder with force taking advantage of the law of the land lending her in its own weakness that all women are tender, soft and defenseless.

I mean to say that equality in age between couples getting married is the root cause for divorce in India. Do you agree to my views?
