It is roumored that from the sale of liquor the revenue is many times more than tax collected thru other means by the government of Tamil Nadu. So, the State has resolved to run its own chain of TASMAC liquor shops it puts to bargain to be owned by those who stand an inch taller in financial might than others willing to own the same.

I want to apply this rule to business tycoons willing to own IPL cricket teams of their choice to run their shows under the patronage of our Central Government. Yes. Lalu Prasad has also said so. He is not my maternal uncle for anyone to relate him to me with the similarity of thought.

Lalit Modi has dirty records to justify his Chairmanship of the IPL. He flies high in helicoptors as his bodyguards holding his bullet-proof jackets wherever he goes. Lalit Modi is now a headless chicken (sorry Mr. Ronen Sen) to have pecked down the ministership of Shashi Taroor tearing that vertically apart. The hunter in Lalit Modi is now being hunted and haunted. Lalit Modi's greed for power and money will die as naturally as any old person above 85 ebbs out for certain with his grudge on life for not giving him a chance again to rule the roost. My point of blog is not Lalit Modi but the Central Government owning the IPL and generate wealth to distribute to the general public in India. But then, there are Ketan Desai type government servants waiting for their opportunity to "serve our nation" to become Lalit Modis and Sharad Pawars.

God save the agriculture in India.

Sharad Pawar though the minister for agriculture in India, the department of agriculture has a cricket patron and baron as its head. He was once bodily pushed out of the podium by Ricky Ponting of Oz. As is he ever, Sharad Pawar is still seen among cricketers and cricket related meetings while his ministry is a hapless spectator to the dozens of suicides taking place among farmers in Sharad Pawar's Maharashtra!

Had it been Singapore, for his deriliction of ministerial duty, Sr. Minister, Mentor Lee Kuan Yew would have reserved a special cell for Sharad Pawar in the Changi Prison. IN THE NAME OF THE TIMES OF INDIA CORRUPTING YOUNG INDIA WITH CRICKET CRAZE

I loved to read the Times of India ever since I was 17 years old. I am 58 now. A full four decades of reading the Times is an asset to my brain stuff, I cannot disagree that. But, that was when the Old Lady of Boribunder in the then Bombay was a paramour to renowned journalists like Dilip Padgaonkar, Malini Parthasarathy, Achin Vanayak, LK Jah, MC Chagla and the likes. I admit frankly that the use of conjuctions to frame long sentences in English language was taught to me by the Times of India and to thousands of youngsters at the time I took up the habit of reading newspaper in 1970. I was a part-time student in the Govt. Institute of Printing Technology in the Sri JJ School of Arts (Fine arts) situated next to the abode of the Old Lady of Boribunder in Dr. DN Road, Fort, Mumbai.


In the editorial page, at that time, the Times has spared large space on Sundays for readers to give vent to their views on topics of choice. It was "Open Forum" and I used to gurgle out my views on different social matters including Tamil literature, fake godmen like Satya Sai Baba, Romanization of Indian scripts and the lost continent Lemuria. At that time there were no internet or email postings. I simply used to write on a foolscap paper with ink pen and dip my "Open I walked past the Times Building to my classroom in the GIPT.


By the time I finished my diploma course in printing technology from the GIPT in 1975, I became almost an author to write on the debackle the US Armed Forces at the banks of River Mekong in far away Viet Nam and the war that gave birth to Gana Praja Tantri Bangladesh. Thanks to the Times. Nixon was ebbing out his political life as he was engulfed by Water from all the Gates! The "Link" was yet another weekly I enjoyed reading with the Times. Even in those times, the Times used get published in 32 pages on days with the finest of articles by famous writers and abridged and reproduced newsletter on world affairs as appeared in the Ashahi Shimbun, Christian Science Monitor, the New York Times and Pravda. So, the Old Lady of Boribunder was not only rich but growing richer with ardent lovers like me to become her inseparable paramours.


As I was lolling around West Asia, the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and Japan working in different countries and companies, I never failed to spare time to read the Times available in the Indian Embassy libraries there. So, the Walter Crescent Road Embassy of India, Lagos, Nigeria or the Abdali Hill Road in Jordan or the Grange Road India House in Singapore were my places to quench my passion for the beauty that was predominent with the Times intellectually then.

Gone are all those days along with the charm the Old Lady of Boribunder owned - today. She is a widow now only with the left out for any one to end with his life but without her paramours to help her to revive as I named them above. In her eagerness to sell herself in the market filled by many young and colorful newcomers with and without covering them with wise write up but adorning them with CYMK in color separations, my earstwhile Old Paramour has morphed into a bundle of distaste for reading her as a newspaper with little substance in her reporting to events happening around but started selling her cities of publishing to dogs that gamble in the name of cricket. Yes, the Times of India has lieterally brainwashed the entire New Delhi and Mumbai cities to go spastic with the so called "news" on cricket. Sex arousing news titbits and semi-porno color images to make youngers among both the sex to go pulsating in carnal desire as they venture opening the city or center pages for news.


Extraordinary projection in multicolor images on cricket heroes fill in all the pages of the Times published from Mumbai. Cricket, cricket and cricket is the only news with blown up images of Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni, Bhajji, Shewagh and spent forces like Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid and Surav Ganguly. The rest of the space is ment for movie stars and news on them. Once a nation building Old Lady is today a nation killing zombie to speak the truth. Chennai was spared so long. But, since when Times came to get published from Chennai, the greedy and corrupt promoters of gambles played in cricket found a fine tool in the Times of India to degrade Chennai to the level of Mumbai with cricket and movie stuff on print. Sorry to say that the Times of India is taking Chennai to the dogs after thowing Mumbai and Delhi to the cricket shit-pit.


Chennai's "Mount Road Mahavishnu", the Hindu is still intact with its publishing virginity from getting spoiled even as the Chairman of the Selection Committee, Mr. Krishnamachari Srikkant and the India Cements Ltd (the "proud" owners of the Chennai Super Kings) were from Tamil Nadu. But, then, the Hindu is always a Hindu to not to blow too cold or too hot to any news-windmills unlike the money-crazy Old Lady of Boribunder from Mumbai.


The Times of India is giving over-doses on cricket stories to Chennai reading public. It dodges news of public and national importance. For two full days it dodges the arrest of Ketan Desai who is alleged to have hoarded 1500 kg of metal gold and 1800 cr rupees in hard cash. Such news are not important to the Times to let people know the blaker sides of India's public servants. What kind of a stake is attached to such news from being highlighted in the visual or print versions of the Times of India? Half the first page of Times of India published from Chennai is left out for cricket and players of it. 2 or 3 more pages are reserved in the name of sports relegating other sports news but promoting only the stale faces of cricketers in multicolor images.


Times of India has to change a lot. Chennai is no Mumbai. Not so much crazy with cricket. But, the Times of India is driving the younger people in this city to the dogs fighting for money doing as a practice to grow big in life. There is no more Dilip Padgaonkar or Malini Parthasarathy or economist Muthamma or MC Chagla living among us to write sensible articles to uplift people in intellectual propensity to emege or grow. But, they were the gems the Old Lady of Boribunder once adorned herself with that has now gone with the wind.

Simple looking and dark. Boyish and extremely active. An IIT Engineer from Chennai, the MIT and Oxford put together in the Indian sub-continent. His views on empowering people with a view to achieve more in their job positions are worth putting in Platinum type-face. Obscure subjects like changing habits and customs and costumes of women in Europe, the Middle East and South and South East Asia and in China in tune with the time and international demands for changes in life styles due to World Wars then and the regional hegemonic wars now raging around us on which I took up debate oriented conversation have captivate me. His resoning for increased percentage of divorce in India and the importance of dating practiced in the West and the USA to select right partners is yet another subject matter for listening in deep interest to understand the merits and demerits of habits, customs and traditions prevailing in the East and the West including the USA.

"How to work without worrying more on the outcome of the result?"

--I asked him once.

I found substance in his simple talking. His understanding of people is based on their prowess to probe into knowing the truth of the matters coming into debate or questions. He talked to me about Steve Job of APPLE and NExT. He asked me to view Steve Jobs' Stanford University convocation address to new graduates as was shown in subtitles in YouTube. Made me listen to Steve Jobs a dozen times and insisted I should put Steve in front of those industrial middle management staff getting training under me in one among the leading plastic moulding group of companies in Chennai - Saro Group of Arun Plasto Mouders India Pvt. Ltd.

Dayalnathan has also given me ideas as to analyze each of the management trainees by probing into their mindset through their answers to find out the characters in them and hold it as the guideline to grade them.

It is highly captivating each time as he takes up topics with me for discussion. There comes Dale Carnegie on simple human relationships and influencing and making friends even from among those whom you "think" are negative in response to your esteemed views on subject matters dear to your feelings of utmost importance. Each time I expressed my displeasure on the madness Indians hold for a corporate gamble played as sport in cricket, conducted ritually by politically influential money launderers, he talked positively about "Cricket Gamble" as a means to offer the much needed job opportunities to thousands directly and dozens of thousands indirectly as each cricket gamble is played in the guise of its formats across India.

He unties the knot with his laconic words yet again for me to understand how true his statements were - given the pathetic side of the effect on the unemployment perspectives if not a "gamble" in cricket is not perceived by greedy business tycoons and corporate business barons in India!!! Others like the US or Israel or Singapore are seeking and taking their share of the yearning Indian youth perfer to exercise to come out in excellence. Hence the Silicon Valley in the US and Serangoon and Orchard Road in Singapore are infested with Indians and Indians alone as expats. Not to speak of the "Falling Down London Bridge" over the Themes!

Dayalnathan says that India needs to exert a bit of negative reaction as well to some core and perenniel issues with regard to its inherent problems of politics, unemployment and efforts to sustain with self competence. I was bit shocked to hear that. When asked he said that if not, to achieve comprehensive progress in areas where a bit of foxy approach is expected to counteract the onslaught of economically influential powers from outside India, "those others" would run over us in the guise of their "grace" offered in investments to the economy of India. That is true given the off-shore business houses offered red carpets welcome by our State and Federal Governments. So, be it a gamble in cricket or a racing or chasing in Grand Prix, India should generate revenue with its one and only never detachable asset, ITS PEOPLE IN 1.3bn! What if the tiny Singapore boasts its 30mn population as its ASSET under its nearly 40 years of oligarchy, why India cannot convert its "asset" in its population to generate revenue and try to match the 4 "C"s Singpore possesses under Mr. Lee Kuan Yew? The Car, Condominium, Cash and Comfort?

I love Dayalnathan, my intellectual friend whose ancestry is from Valliyoor in Tirunelveli District, my home town in Tamil Nadu, India but I hate my inability to grasp some of his views deeply studded with thinking of Peter Drucker, Dale Carnegie, Amarthiya Sen, EV Ramasamy Periyaar, Nallaan Charkaravarthy Rajagopalaachaari and Ingersoll put together.

Dayalnathan is a bundle of provoking thoughts and ideas to move thinking minds to shed fear, shyness, incompetence and reluctance.

Dayalnathan is a tool for our youth power to come forward to enjoy sharing views to enlighten themselves in perspectives so far given little thought to put into practice.

I know wise men are born mostly in hamlets along famous river banks. Dayalnathan is no exception. He too is one among the breeds of the banks of River Thaamiravaaruni or the Porunai Nathi, the ancient most river embedded with tiney villages famous for unforgettable men and women to which Tirunelveli District is famoulsly known from Chicago in the US to Shinagawa in Japan. To name a few of them? Bharathiyaar, Bishop. GU Pope, Rev. Caldwell, Veerapaandiaya Kattabomman, VOC and many in my list.

I firmly believe 60 years hence, my friend, Dayalnathan would be in that list of the gift Tirunelveli gave to this world. No big talk this.

Our government would do everything for a game which is a potential attraction for terrorists to plot for mass murders as was the evidence of explosives thrown around the gates of Bangalooru's Chinnasamy Stadium recently. Still, as shameless as we are, we encourage this cricket gamble to be conducted in DY Patil Stadium instead of asking to put a perpetual stop to this nation-destroying cricket culture and gamble! We are Indians and we are born nonchalant to national interests. Yes, we will not seek a ban for cricket games but throng inside huge stadiums as potential targets for anti-national elements to wreck havock as they wish taking advantage of our passion to watch in thousands Lalit Modi's IPL gamble.

Are we not any dressed-up cheer-leaders to gyrate to the tunes of Lalit Modi while millions of our manhours are drained out into the gutters of our cricket stadia across our country?

Are we not downright nincompoops to dance inside a cricket stadium while we never bother to question our Union Agricultural minister does little or no work to progress in the sector that feeds our poor nation with food and food produces?

While we condemn and file cases against Ram Sena activists over their distaste to to eat way our society in general and our younger generation in particular with their valuable school and college time for studies?

When will our government wake up to not to yield its State facilities like play grounds, electric power and police force to Lalit Modi's corporate gamble called cricket? Lalit Modi can bring down the minister for state for external affairs with his ill-gotten money power. A day might dawn in India to see Lalit Modi and his like bring down governments at will and his wish with his calandestine money power pouring from those not so friendly foreign spouts operating from outside India. In the UT of Puducherry (formerly known as Pondicherry), the not so formerly well known public face of the State of Karnataka and the presently well known Union Law Minister, Mr Veerappa Moily has demanded to deliver justice in any case coming to courts within 6 months of time from filing the same. There are hundreds of thousands of cases pending in the courts across the country for decades. It is similar to those people seeking justice in thousands in the Israeli jails without being heard or sentenced or adjudged with hearingS in the Israeli courts of law - the Palestinians the "terrorists!"

Veerappa Moily fools Indians by saintly saying so while the one who masterminded the attacks on our Parliament is still kicking alive even after our so called "Supreme" Court has handed out a death sentence criminally charging him as the culprit. Why Mr. Veerappa Moily cannot practice what he preaches in Puducherry on delivering justice? For all the corruptions and misdeeds India is known for, our courts and thier nonchalance to deliver justice within a stipulated frame work on time is only reason.

Three research students - all girls from the Coimbatore Agricultural University were burned alive over a verdict on the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa convicting her to be a criminal in a corruption case by the Chennai High Court some years ago. It was cold blood murder by her AIADMK partymen in Ilakkiyapatti in Dharmapuri Distrtict of Tamil Nadu. The Chennai High Court issued death sentences to three of the accused who have committed the crime in broad daylight. The culprits went ahead to the Supreme Court and for last 8 years, those three muderers sentenced to death are still enjoying life in prison eating government food. The courts are sleeping for more than 8 years and now Veerappa Moily brags on justice to be delivered within six months of filing a case in Indian courts! Such sweet talks are height of stupidity. Instead, Veerappa Moily should persuade the courts to deliver justice by implementing sentences passed out on criminals like Lalu, Jayalalithaa, Sibu Soren, Narendra Modi and thousands of the like now living free over the nonchalance of our Indian courts.

In India, no one is accountable for any crimes - be it economic or others. You can commit crimes by killing people like Sibu Soren or looting State property like Jayalalithaa or instigate religious hatred and make people kill one another like Narendra Modi or help girl friends like Sashi Taroor to enter IPL gamble that Lalit Modi runs as his own fiefdom using Indian State Police like his paid servants and Indian state property as his own grandfather's and get away with it - Scot Free!

With our nonchalance, we are walking into destroying our own nations in a few years to come by creating distate in people's mind on our system of democracy and the style with which we run our Parliament amid ruckus. Our courts are sleeping beauties to crimes and criminals. Our justice system is in its death bed. 99% of our population do not believe in our justice court or electoral system. The ever increasing street murders across India if ever were any evidence, Street Justice is accepted and practed in India far against the one in the name of Justice being served through the courts in India. Yes, Kangaroo courts and Village Courts are accepted more for their quick deliverance without procrastinating the sentence and its implementation. We are a laboratory to change democracy into a dictatorship operated by Courts, Police and Politicians.

Our Election Commission (EC) is yet another helping tool to murderers, corrupters and goons and scoundrals to enter as law makers into our Parliament. Name one clean MP who is not booked for a case in the court of law in India. You cannot. There are always Lalus, Sibu Sorens and the likes. Idiots who should have retired 5 or more times over their age are still warming up the chairs with their ............ in our State Legislative Assemblies and Parliaments. There are Gowdas, Shekhawats, Basus, Nidhis, Menons and Pawars. Look at Arun Jaitley, Farookh Abdullah. They sponsor their respective State Cricket while they are not at all concerned with anything cricket. They mint money witht the help of Pawars, Lalith Modis, State Governments, BBCI and our government.

We need to wash out our governing system. Not the way those dirty Naxalites perfer to kill innocent people. But picking up individuals like Lalith Modis, useless Shard Pawars who have never visited one agricultural center or university but often opts out to preside over cricket meets across the country! India needs cleaing off the dirty linen in its judicial and political and governmental set up. We need to eliminate individuals out from theri political life forthwith.

Democratic elections are of no use. We need to walk into their office and see them relinquish their jobs forthwith.

சுப்பு என்ற பாலசுப்பிரமணியம் போன்றோர் சமுதாயப் புல்லுருவிகள். மத இன சாதி பேதங்களை வளர்க்கும் சண்டாளர்கள். இவர்கள்தான் ஒருங்கிணைந்த இந்தியத் திருநாட்டினை உருக்குலைக்க நினைக்கும் நக்சலைட் தீவிரவாதிகளுக்கே நிகரான தேசத்துரோகியர். யாருக்கு வேண்டும் திராவிடம்? யாருக்குத் தேவை ஆரியம்? இந்து மதத்தால் விளைந்த சாதிகளால் நம் ஒருமைப்பாடு உருக்குலைந்தது போதாதா? இன்றையத் தேவை இன்னொரு ஈ. வே. ரா. பெரியார்தான். இன்னொரு கோபாலகிருஷ்ண கோகலேதான். மகாத்மா புலே தான். குலக்கல்வியை தமிழகத்தில் கொண்டுவர முயற்சித்த நல்லான் சக்கரவர்த்தி ராஜகோபாலாச்சாரி வேண்டாம். மத பேதத்தின் வகுப்பசிரியன் நரேந்திர மோடி வேண்டாம். உங்களுடைய பதிப்பகம் எதற்கு வகுப்பறை என்பதை நீங்களே முடிவுசெய்யுங்கள். பேதங்களை வளர்க்காதீர்கள். பிரிவினையைத் தூண்டாதீர்கள்.

DISPARITY AMONG THE HAVE AND HAVE NOT IN INDIA IS ALARMINGLY INCREASING.

I love India simply because it is my Motherland. I cannot hate it at all ever in my life. But, I am disillusioned over most of the systems of Parliamentary Democracy with which it is governed by political scoundrals, corruptors and materially influenced media barons and black marketing business tycoons. Look at the politicians of India like Subu Soren, Jayalalithaa known for absolute corruption and crimes committed against the people of India and the on the face of Indian political system. Look at a gamble in the name of sport being widely allowed to be played in the form of IPL Twenty20 cricket matches! Look at an IPL cricketer being paid in millions of dollars and in awards for doing nothing - even helping the people of India with one urinal/toilet - from the loot they make in the name of playing cricket for movie and business tycoons! Has India any control on the accumulation of disproportionate wealth by those cricketers and their sponsors? Why then cry foul when class wars take place in forms and shades?

Those men and women sweating out day and night in the stone crushing quarries in Chitorgargh and Andhra's Cuddappa live crushing stones all their life while Tendulkars and Dhonis keep accumulating their wealths without any lid put to their income. Why more than one car to a family in a country where 75% of its population walk on feet to fetch food by slogging more than 12hrs a day in forests and countrysides?

Can anyone deny Lalit Modi of the IPL is running his own kingdom using Govt. of India's land, power supply, broadcasting facilities while fooling millions of young Indians through the thrill of a gamble he is conducting expertly even as annual examinations in whole of India's schools are being conducted between March and April? How come the Govt. of India allow Lalit Modi to do such a crime in the name of conducting IPL. Is it not Lalit Modi who has demanded the National Security Forces to guard his business in gamble as though the security forces of India were his father's own property to use at his own will? How much rich is Lalit Modi? Can the IT Department ever bothered to probe into his wealth? Can a Lalit Modi ever be a possibility in Singapore or China?

The way India is being governed today will surely lead it into a class war type situation. The poor people, the back-bone of India's labor force and agriculture are watching this for too long a time since independence and a catastrophe is going to befall on the whole of the country. None can escape from the wrath of disgust growing among the mass of the people now. I love my country so much so that I dread to think such a class war could even lead up the disintegration of India which has its known history of discord among its people in the names of religion, caste and region.
