Ridiculous! What if cricket went back 5 or even 50 years in India if any one gambler playing nothing of a game worth that word in the name of cricket? If India, the begging bowl for millions and beehieve of illiteracy went 5o years ahead in cricket, how does it help uplift the living and educational standards of Indians, any way? The nemesis of India's progress is in the gamble called cricket. We have abolished the Privy Purse to the erstwhile Maharajahs of former fiefdoms. But, being Indians true to our names, we forget our dire needs in the field of education, employment and jobs in dropping our jaws down as corporate cricket gamblers and its players in the names of Little Master, Wall, Jumbo and Master Blaster gather 100 times more money than the one in Privy Purse we paid to Nizams, Rajahs and Kings of our countries even after our independence from the British. We should abolish this gamble called cricket forthwith and stop corrupting our yougsters. If not, India will be a Caribbean or Sri Lankan begging bowl. Ban cricket playing at school level. We need better people from among our youngsters. Not gamblers playing cricket on our heights of stupidity.
